BSG is partnering with the City of Corvallis to provide comprehensive analysis and documentation of internal business processes and informations systems used to support city operations and citizen access to services. Effectiveness will be evaluated based on measures of efficiency, ease of use, collaboration, and provision of value to stakeholders. BSG will assist the City with developing streamlined workflows and processes that facilitate communication and collaboration, increase citizen participation, and improve the perceived value of services.
Oregon is a national leader in the effort to conserve energy and promote sustainability, and the Oregon Dept. of Energy has the most aggressive energy tax credit program in the country. BSG is proud to be designing and building the online application and workflow processing system that supports the state’s Business and Residence Energy Tax Credit (BETC/RETC) systems, helping over 50,000 people a year participate in the worldwide effort to conserve energy.
BSG has assisted the state of Oregon in consolidating its 4 regional dispatch centers throughout the state integrating multiple software and information systems. When complete, this project will have combined the functionality of multiple event (e.g., road/weather condition monitoring, dispatch, etc.) and resource management systems into one TOCS application capable of independent operation at each center with the ability to backup one operation center from another. It will also create an interface with the Oregon State Police to exchange data.
Just as BSG branches out into the community, it also stays close to home. BSG develops, hosts and maintains the OSU's College of Business custom Web site. Faculty and staff who want to create personal surveys for academic use are welcome to work with our customizable survey services found within the College of Business Web site.
Right now, BSG is building and hosting an internal Web site for the College of Education's Western Center for Community College Development. When it's finished, the site will provide community college training and certification as well as the ability to track various business aspects.
BSG develops, hosts and maintains Oregon State University's internal procurement and contract services site. This system serves as the purchasing agency for all of OSU. It also has the legal authority to negotiate leases, and procure professional, construction and service supply contracts on behalf of the university.
Its given name is the Institutional Research Interactive Information System. Either way, it's a fast, powerful interactive tool. IRIIS is a database that can give researchers key information about OSU student enrollment and generate tables and charts that researchers can use. Guests can even check IRIIS out to get limited sets of information. BSG develops, hosts and maintains this site.
BSG develops, hosts and maintains this site, which provides the OSU community with a resource for tracking non-tuition fees. Information on internal, external and course fees is available to anyone who needs it. Not only that, departments can use the site to create online proposals to add new fees, change fees or drop existing ones – a good example of BSG’s workflow process.
OSU offers more than 400 online credit courses in more than 60 subjects. BSG's Ecampus schedule of classes makes navigating all those options a seamless experience. Students can research and sign up for online classes through Ecampus because BSG's service-oriented architecture and integrated services and platforms make it possible. Not only that, it's possible to "attach" a syllabus to a course or specific course section that's linked to your online schedule of classes. BSG develops, hosts and maintained it all.
Anyone with an OSU ID card – students, faculty, staff or donors – can use BSG's MyCard site. Created in 2007, the MyCard site allows people to check the balance of available cash on their ID cards, add funds to their cards or even add more people (like parents), who can add resources online. BSG develops, hosts and maintains the site.
